This is what the Bears are paying the president of the team to do. Not go find a competent general manager (the juror is still out on Poles). But instead, keep trying to to get Arlington Heights to lower taxes for their property so they could build a stadium that would take everyone six hours to get to. And even then, he isn’t getting what we wants. I’m sure he will pout like a baby.
For those who have driven around Route 53 just north of 90, you would know that it’s a nightmare just trying to exit off somwhere close by at 1:00 on a Tuesday afternoon. There is no fucking way that expressway can handle 20,000 vehicles at minimum plus public transportation within a few hours on a Sunday.
