Johnson vs. Sirriani: Battle of The Stupid | Bears 24 Eagles 15

November 28, 2025

Yep. I am still pissed. This was a battle of who was the dumber head coach. Usually, I vouch for a coach who has won a Super Bowl. But this year, Nick Sirriani has displayed so much stupid. Thankfully, he out-stupided (I am not sure that’s a word) Ben Johnson. The Bears somehow held onto this game. It was primed to be a disaster if it wasn’t for the defense doing just enough to seal the deal.

How many fucking times has it been 2nd and 1 or 3rd and 1 with Caleb dropping back only to scramble around to throw it nowhere? Just this game alone, there were three or four occasions. This is called putting your team in a position to fail. This is called Ben Johnson being a fucking idiot. The Bears were driving up 10-9 and what happens? 2nd and short or whatever and Caleb throws an interception right into a defensive lineman’s hands. The Eagles were in prime position to take the lead until Nahshon Wright saved the day once again. The running game was working all day. They didn’t need to keep passing in those short situations.

Then late in the game, the Eagles score again with ease. Seriously, can’t the defense just put this full game together? They cannot keep doing this. Yes, I am happy Kevin Byard got an interception and Nahshon Wright getting that huge strip of Jalen Hurt’s on the tush push. The Bears should have easily had 20 points at halftime and at least 38 by the time the clock had all zeroes. Instead, we are seeing these games still be too close for comfort.

Nick Sirriani as mentioned, was the dumber head coach today. On the last touchdown the Eagles scored, he called for the two-point conversion. I had no doubt the Bears would allow the two points to be scored. And somehow, Hurts missed on that pass. Knowing how the Bears are, that two points gets scored and the Eagles get the ball back a minute or two later to take the lead. That’s how lucky the Bears are to escape this clusterfuck. If I am any of those players, I gather the other 52 guys and take Ben Johnson to the toilet to give him a swirlie for this stupidity.

The biggest game of the season is next against the Packers. First place will be on the line. Either stop this fucking chaos of stupidity or miss out on the playoffs. It’s Ben Johnson’s call.

In what use to be a tradition of college sports being played today, Roger Goodell and the owners are doing their thing again for the third year in a row by having a game on Black Friday.

The Bears are hanging onto first place by the slimmest of margins. While the Lions are starting to slip, the Packers aren’t going away. A win here brings them closer to a playoff spot and a loss could have them fall out of playoff position. Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon are back for this game.

It’s never easy | Bears 31 Steelers 28

November 23, 2025

I am still trying to calm the fuck down after that one.

This had all the makings of a long afternoon. Even the first drive for the Steelers, it just seemed the Bears were in for a bad day. Nahshon Wright saves the first drive. But the next? 95 yards right down the field. I don’t care if it’s Mason Rudolph or John Elway. If a defense gives up a 95-yard drive with ease, they are fucking rotten. Timely takeaways saves the day again. Grady Jarrett and Jaquon Brisker saved the team on the last drive with the tipped passes.

All these football “experts” continue to say these aren’t the old Bears. False. I will continue to say “same old Bears” until the defense can cover receivers and win 35-10 for a change. All of these come-from-behind victories and holding on like today is not sustainable. The defense can’t give up nearly 200 yards rushing like today. They can’t let receivers roam all over the field wide open. They can’t get stupid penalties (Nick McCloud on a pass interference).

Poor Caleb Williams. This guy has been put in a position to fail and yet, finds a way to generate five scoring drives. Yeah, the last couple offensive drives were pretty fucking stupid with him throwing incomplete passes. Thankfully, an injury on the Steelers cost them their last timeout on the final drive. But this stupidity ultimately falls on Ben Johnson. Instead of running the ball, they have Caleb rolling out and putting the game at risk.

The fucking around needs to stop. The Super Bowl Champion Eagles are next on Friday.

I can only think about that cold Monday night 15 years ago when a bust by the name of Corey Wooten sacked Brett Favre (who was playing for the Vikings) and it ended a 17-year nightmare for the Bears. Favre never played another snap after that. It was the only thing worth a damn that Corey Wooten ever did. Unfortunately, two years prior, Favre was succeeded by Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay. When that happened, more futility ensued. Heartbreak after heartbreak. Ass-kicking after ass-kicking. Favre tormented my childhood and Rodgers tormented my adult life.

Today, if Rodgers is indeed playing, the Bears have an opportunity to do the same thing: End the 17-year nightmare.

Don’t tell me to be excited | Bears 19 Vikings 17

November 16, 2025

This had deja vu written all over it. When it was 16-3, the score was very similar to the season opener when the Bears were up by the same exact score and preceded to shit down their legs. I expected this to happen. Cairo Santos missed a field goal in the opener and the wheels fell off. Today, the same exact thing happens. Yet, somehow, someway, they find another way to WIN. But it should have never reached this point.

The defense was outstanding the first three quarters. Getting three turnovers and only resulting in three points is fucking inexcusable. Then, as par for the course, they collapse in the fourth. Ben Johnson is still proving to any logical fan that he has no fucking idea what he is doing. It almost cost this team the game (again). And yes, Cairo Santos is to blame as well for giving the Vikings life. But it should have never reached that had the play-calling have been better. The Bears should have easily had 30 points today and ran away with it. Instead, it was another cardiac moment for all of us.

Ben Johnson should be buying Devin Duvernay dinner for the rest of the week. He saved this dipshit from another humiliation.

And back to the defense, is this mental thing with these assholes? It’s been the same result for the last 20 years where they just fall apart when it matters most. Did the missed field goal fuck up their psyche? I have reason to believe that could be it. It’s just like the offense in the past years where as soon as they take the field, they are already down 7-0. Then it becomes 14-0. I just want this entire team to put together four full quarters of playing well and being in-sync.

I just feel like it’s time to bring back Jake Moody to kick. Santos has not been that consistent and again, today could have been costly. Shit like this can make a team collapse. The team is 7-3. The Bears need to make this change while they still have a chance to contend this season.

Opening night against the Vikings: The Bears promptly shit all over themselves. Here we with a rematch. Let’s pray the defense covers the receivers.

Superman saves the day | Bears 24 Giants 20

November 9, 2025

I can’t take this shit. I really can’t. I am tired of the stupidity of this head coach constantly putting the franchise quarterback in a position to fail. I am seriously fed up. Once again, it had to take Caleb Williams to put on the Superman cape and do it on his own. There is no fucking way Ben Johnson called any plays on those final two drives when the Bears were in hurry-up mode. It had to be Caleb telling himself “fuck it, I am doing it on my own.” And that’s exactly what he did.

Ben Johnson is a fucking idiot. The first drive of the game, it was a first down and Caleb does that stupid pass immediately to the side. What has this coach not fucking learned? Did he not remember the game against the Raiders where passes were getting knocked down or intercepted? And whenever it is caught by a receiver, they gain nothing. So yeah, enough with that dumb shit. And when it’s 2nd and 1? Are we really getting into this again? RUN THE DAMN BALL YOU STUPID FUCK.

Another reason to run the ball? These receivers were dropping passes all damn day. I get that it’s cold and the snow is blowing. But it was also cold and blowing snow for the Giants today. They didn’t seem to have a problem catching it.

This fucking defense is awful. Just awful. It took knocking out Jaxson Dart for the defense to actually get a stop. It is absolutely inexcusable that these assholes can’t cover a receiver to save their lives. The wide receivers were open all damn day and if it wasn’t for the injury to Dart, he throws for 300 yards with ease. Russell Wilson comes in and nearly drives down for a touchdown. Shocking to everyone, Brian Daboll kicks the field goal with the ball at the 1-yard line. Good Lord.

The only bright spot of the defense was C.J. Gardner-Johnson. Holy fuck. He has basically saved this defense two straight weeks after being signed days before last week’s game. It’s too bad nobody else on defense is bothering to do anything.

Again, Caleb Williams and C.J. Gardner-Johnson have willed this team to win two straight with nearly everyone else not doing much. This team is winning in spite of the shitty head coach. If this guy would stop being such a fucking idiot and calling plays that fit Caleb’s style of play, this wouldn’t be so damn difficult. Yes, I am happy the Bears won. We all should be. But having to do it in this manner due to piss-poor coaching is a problem. And the defense deserves a lot of criticism as well. This team has yet to put together a full game where all phases are clicking. The schedule is going to be extremely difficult going forward. Fix it or watch the playoffs at home.

It would be nice if this team put together four full quarters of football where all three phrases play solid and flawless. But since it’s the Bears, I wouldn’t bet money on it.

I am out of here.

It’s another season for the NFC that seven or eight teams are going to be fighting for the last playoff spot. The Bears will need to pull off at least three wins in a row starting today just to have a chance.
