Can someone tell Ryan Poles that this guy sucks at football and shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near Caleb Williams?
Career stats (cue Yeti):
98/168 | 950 yards | 4 TD | 9 INT

Two months until training camp. Time will certainly start to drag.
Also, fuck Roger Goodell.
Until this franchise gives us a reason to think otherwise, the “reality” of more losses than wins remain. Again, this team can prove us wrong if they like.
Some already think that the Bears have “winnable” games to start. What chance do they have? The way I see it, nothing is winnable as the Bears have proven that they will find ways to lose.
So maybe they beat the Titans? I am sure it will be close. But I see many losses on this schedule.
Losses: Texans, Colts, Rams, Packers, Vikings, Lions, 49ers, Vikings, Lions and Packers.
And I strongly feel that 7-10 is optimism. As I say every year, there is one game that nobody expects the Bears to win. But I don’t know where I see it this year. Maybe one of those games against the Vikings? Optimism, indeed.

Rookie mini-camp starts and one day in, the ninth overall pick is hurt.
I can’t say I’m surprised. It’s the Bears we are talking about. We’re still over two months from training camp starting and players are already having issues.
This slipped under my radar and may have for others. The Bears signed an undrafted quarterback for the second year in a row.
Austin Reed | Quarterback | Western Kentucky
We all know Caleb Williams will be the starting quarterback assuming an injury doesn’t happen before the season starts. It’s unfortunate that we have to prepare for an injury. But this is the Bears we are talking about.
Along with Tyson Bagent, this man could very well be another insurance policy. I know people bash Bagent from last year’s performance in those two losses. But if (and thats a big if) Shane Waldron is in any way competent as an offensive coordinator, Bagent could have a much better chance at succeeding. And same with Reed if he has to step up.
As long as we don’t see that turd Brett Rypien, this is a good idea. And I swear, if they ever bring back Nathan Peterwhacker, I am going to Halas Hall myself to kick Ryan Poles in the nuts.
The Bears also signed Illini defensive linemen Keith Randolph Jr. Being an Illini fan, I am rooting for this guy. Him and Jer’Zhan Newton were beasts on the line the last couple seasons. If he is given an actual opportunity, I think he can be a steal for this team. The Bears were terrible last year getting pressure up the middle and stopping teams on third downs.
I was a little late on this.
The Bears have indeed, selected Caleb Williams to be their quarterback and took wide receiver Rome Odunze from Washington State.
Until we are proven otherwise, we have to assume that these two along with whoever else they choose this weekend will be busts. 40 years of ineptitude has given us enough to assume this is the outcome.
Your thoughts in the thread.
Take your “tax payers will cover half of the new stadium” and shove it up your ass. We law-abiding citizens give this state enough money as it is. This stadium is unnecessary. And your employer still owes $600 million for rennovations to Soldier Field. Instead of trying to put a contending team on the field for the first time in 40 years, THIS is your focus? If you think we are paying the bill, our loyal poster by the name of Chucky will pay you a visit. He will bring a wooden cooking spoon with him as well.
Sincerely,
Fans of the Chicago Bears

We are about three weeks away from the NFL Draft. Thoughts?
