June 3, 2013OK, I’ve had it: Anybody who continues to pitch Carlos Marmol is a complete IDIOT. And if the pressure is coming from above, then tell the “powers that be” to stick Marmol up their ass(es).
Building for the future includes fostering good team morale and chemistry. I wonder how many Cubs players are truly happy that Carlos Marmol is their teammate?
I’ll be shocked if Marmol ever pitches effectively for any length of time in the Major leagues. Yet another holdover from the Hendry era…money wasted for sure, but it’s too late now; trade him for the proverbial “bag of shells”.
Soriano, too. I’d rather see two rookies get a chance to play the game than a couple of BUMS…
The STENCH of Dumbo Hendry remains: it is sickening and PATHETIC.
Fujikawa down.
May 30, 2013So, the Cubs have been quietly rebuilding since 1908, right? It does seem like lately they are getting better….or, am I delusional (baaaaah)?
Trade Soriano. Trade Marmol.
That’s all I got for now. If anybody wants to take the time to spill their guts on anything Cubs related, I just might use it/post as a new thread. DON’T HOLD BACK.
In other news….GO BLACKHAWKS!
Yeah buddy!

In trouble.
May 23, 2013A lot of the internet folks and “experts” said that the Blackhawks would be better matched up against the Red Wings in the second round rather than the Sharks. A lot of the same people said that the Blackhawks would win the series easily against the Red Wings and that no team can beat them in a best-of-seven series. The Blackhawks win the first game. Then, they lose the next one. And the one after that. And then the one after that also.
Now, I wish they would play the games on paper.
In my lifetime, the Red Wings have always beat the Blackhawks in the playoffs. My earliest memory was in ’95 when the Blackhawks went down 4-1. Likewise for 2009. This year, it could be the same. These guys are a pain in the ass. I was probably the happiest guy out there when I found out they were switching conferences. Unless they face each other in the Stanley Cup (I’ll be shitting myself in fear if that happens), the Blackhawks won’t have to worry about seeing them in the playoffs ever again.
So here are the Blackhawks down 3-1. If they don’t want to hear about how the 1991 Blackhawks went out of the playoffs in horrendous fashion by spending half of the games with someone on their team in the penalty box against the North Stars, then they will win three in a row and advance to the Western Conference Finals.
For the love of God, please win three in a row.

Nice suit.
May 16, 2013It’s finally OVER.
May 15, 2013Well, the Bulls put us out of our misery Wednesday night after they were down 18 early on, then up 11 and just couldn’t hold on to it. It was deja vu from 2011 with the Bulls winning the first game and then losing the next four in horrendous fashion.
I’ll keep this short as if I wrote everything that is pissing me off, I would be repeating myself for the 1500th time in the last few years. I will say that a few of the “experts” said that the Bulls are playing shorthanded and with just an extra man or two on the bench. Let’s put it this way: The Bulls, like every other NBA team, can dress 12 guys regardless. The Bulls had 12 guys ready to play. Of course they are going to “run out of gas” in games because the idiot head coach refuses to play the rest of the guys on the team. That’s not very smart.
Yes. Vladimir Radmonovic is terrible and so are Daequan Cook and Malcom Thomas. I even joked with a friend that Cook is a good basketball player when he doesn’t shoot the ball. The fact of the matter is, is that these guys need to put in minutes to give the starters rest. Instead, there continued to be a “DNP – Coach’s Decision” in the boxscore for them. Why even sign these guys to the roster and take up more salary cap space if they aren’t going to play? That’s right. Jerry Reinsdorf can afford to pay players a million or two to sit on the bench and do nothing. I wish I can get paid millions of dollars to go watch a basketball game. Where do I sign?
That’s it for me. I’ll leave you guys this:
