Yesterday, the Bears received a gift from the 49ers when they beat the Cardinals. And go figure, Robbie Gould did everything he could to fuck it up for the Bears by missing an extra point and two field goals. Regardless, the 49ers pulled it out and it gives the Bears more life to get into the playoffs. We’ll see what happens.

December 27, 2020Sweating it out: Bears 33 Vikings 27
December 20, 2020Why does this have to be so difficult? When the offense sucks, the defense plays adequately. When the offense finally finds life, the defense turns to shit. Fuck Chuck Pagano. Thankfully, the Vikings ran out of time and the Bears held on to win.
Mitch threw one really awful pass and it was probably the only one of the game. Late in the game, instead of throwing it away due to no one being open in the end zone, he tried to throw it to J.P Holtz. Unfortunately, it was both a yard short and a yard too low for Holtz to get it. But the rest of the game? Fucking money. It’s just a shame he was put in a position to fail throughout these four years by incompetent coaches. Finally, the offense put together a full game where they scored on nearly every position. THIS IS WHAT AN OFFENSE IS SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE.
The defense was fucking awful as mentioned above. On nearly every series they were on, they gave up points. It was BAD. There were a couple of stupid penalties that could have ended drives. Yes, they made stops on the last two drives to win the game. But it should have never reached that point to begin with.
As I type this recap, the Cardinals are currently playing. The Bears will either be tied for that last spot or remain a game out. Two games left. The Jaguars are up next and we all know that won’t be easy.

December 20, 2020The same thing goes this week as it was last week. Win to stay in the race or lose and it’s over.
Too late: Bears 36 Texans 7
December 13, 2020Wow. If only the Bears had won last week, they would have been tied for the last playoff spot. But since they didn’t, getting to the playoffs is going to be much more difficult.
This game shocked all of us. None of us expected the Bears to win this game. The Bears sacked Watson six times and the offense scored four touchdowns in the first half. Trubisky was amazing in the first half. Of course, the bald-headed dipshit was trying to get cute in the second half by putting him in a position to fail (like he has since he arrived in Chicago three years ago).
The second half was awful for the offense. There was a series where it was 2nd and 3 and what does the bald-headed dipshit do? Two straight pass plays resulting in a punt. Instead of just killing the clock by running the ball to close out the final quarter and change, pass plays galore. Even when they kick ass in total, they still try everything they can to fuck it up. There I was thinking to myself “they could still blow this.” That’s the Bears for you. If I am the players, I revolt in the huddle and run the ball instead in those situations. Show that bald-headed dipshit that he isn’t going to ruin their future careers by running plays they know don’t work.
The Bears are one game out of the last playoff spot with three remaining. Even though the Vikings lost today, they still hold the tie-breaker as we speak. Since we know the Bears aren’t beating the Packers the last game of the season, they must win the next two games against the Vikings and Jaguars respectively to still have a chance. I still feel, however, that we are probably going to look at the game the Bears blew against the Lions as the difference between making the playoffs and staying home when the season finishes up.
Fuck.

You get what you pay for: Lions 34 Bears 30
December 6, 2020What else is there to say? The Bears gave up 400 yards and 34 points to the Lions. Again, everything else seemed to align for the Bears to try to contend for a playoff spot. Instead, the bald-headed dipshit decided to call pass plays late in the game rather than run it and that proved to be the final blow as Trubisky was stripped of the ball after the two-minute warning.
If this epic collapse doesn’t get Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy fired, nothing will. How much more does this fucking dis-organization have to see to tell everyone that enough is enough? Why does George McCaskey continue to accept mediocrity when it’s clear that teams that are supposed to be “worse” than them are making changes for the better of the team?
Let me remind you, the Bears were up ten with under five minutes to go. No excuses. Everyone is to blame. The bald fuck, Pagano (fuck this guy) and all of the players on the team. EVERYONE is responsible for this fucking disaster.
Fuck all of you, Chicago Bears. FUCK. ALL. OF. YOU.
It’s almost 4:30 on Monday and yet, Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy are still employed.
November 30, 2020Where is George? He has been very silent lately.
I don’t have time for this: Packers 13 Bears 3 (2nd quarter)
November 29, 2020We all knew the Bears were going to lose this game. So, I am going to just go ahead with the recap now. Two drives and two touchdowns for the Packers. It wasn’t even close either. The “vaunted” defense of the Bears didn’t do a damn thing (like most of the season).
And when the Bears got to first and goal, the same problems existed like they have for the last 15 years. Get all the way down only to get a field goal (or turnover). Regardless of what happens the rest of this game, Trubisky isn’t to blame completely. He’s not playing defense.
The three teams the Bears are chasing for a playoff spot all lost today. That’s happened in many other years as well when the Bears actually had a chance. It’s like the rest of the teams they are chasing are giving them a playoff spot and the Bears are saying “no, thanks.”
It’s over for the Bears. Even if there is an unforeseen miracle tonight, it’s over.
Next week are the Lions at home. Yay?
The Bye Week is a good time to fire a general manager and head coach.
November 22, 2020Instead, George McCaskey is still hiding in his underground bunker away from the media. He probably refuses to have internet down there because he’s too much of a coward to face the criticism he deserves. Every day that goes by, he admits to letting the inmates run the asylum. Every passing day, he does nothing to change this team. Instead, Ryan Pace continues his SEVENTH year as general manager by drafting busts and signing players who can’t play football (Buster Skrine). Go ahead and throw in “trading picks for absolutely no reason whatsoever.” Then again, he can’t do shit with the picks he does have, so it doesn’t really doesn’t matter.
Why? WHY CAN’T THIS FRANCHISE JUST DO SOMETHING RIGHT FOR A CHANGE?
I am tired of the mediocrity. I’m tired of general managers who don’t know how to draft good players. I’m tired of head coaches who don’t know that running the ball on 2nd and inches is a better idea than passing it. I’m tired watching players not know how to cover receivers. We’ve seen this shit for way too long.
There has been only one season in my life where I actually felt confident that the Bears could have won the Super Bowl. Of course, that was the year they lost the Super Bowl back in 2007. Everything seemed okay until the playoffs where the “magic” of Lovie Smith disappeared. I’m not going to get into that because it will just piss me off. But you get the point. As I am in my mid-30’s, that shows how bad the Bears have been since I’ve existed. The Bears really haven’t been feared since the 80’s. That’s a long fucking time ago.
Easier said than done. Of course, this is the NFL. But at the same time, a professional football team should hire actual professionals that are qualified. Ryan Pace wasn’t qualified to become a general manager of an NFL team. Matt Nagy wasn’t qualified to become a head coach. And after watching these two clowns piss all over the Bears, I am certain they aren’t even qualified to be in the sport.
But, these are the Bears. A lifetime accountant is the president of the team (Ted Phillips). He’s been there for about 30 years. 30. FUCKING. YEARS.
The bye week is a good time to fire a general manager and head coach. It would give the team almost two weeks to get acclaimed to a different coach and maybe lighten up the mood. It would also give the chairman time to find someone who actually knows the game of football.
But, these are the Bears. And therefore, we will continue to dream of those scenarios.
Bye bye Theo.

Having experienced the 2016 Cubs World Series Championship under Theo’s watch, I’ll always be grateful for his part in making it happen.
It will be interesting to see where he ends up….thoughts?
