IT’S STILL REAL TO ME, DAMNIT!

It’s been a while since I’ve talked some WRASSLIN’ on here. Of course, things have been fairly busy in other areas and when storylines are awful, it’s hard to get the motivation to talk about it.

Last night’s ending to Raw is being talked about as the best ending to that show in years. I have already mentioned that Raw being three hours for the last two and a half years is atrocious, as it is. But the last seven or eight minutes of the show should remind us fans why we still love and watch this.

Over the weekend and into Monday, I was reading up on the news (dirt sheets) and there was some talk about surprises. I couldn’t have thought of a better way to execute the ending more. Sting shows up and saves the day again. I don’t give a damn how old he is and I could care less how old I get. And there were many more around my age and older who said online that they were jumping off the couch when he appeared on the titantron. To make things even better, Lesnar came out and kicked some ass.

That’s how Raw should end almost every night. Not necessarily with the returns, but in terms of excitement. Every now and then, WWE throws us a bone. They should put in that type of effort every week.

The Royal Rumble is this Sunday.

This guy is an idiot.

With the Bulls having three players out on Saturday night with the first place Hawks in town, this would have been the perfect opportunity for some players to step back. Unfortunately, the impostor for a head coach, decided that only playing eight players was a better idea. Three players (Snell, Mohammed, Bairstow) were once again, nowhere to be seen. Four of the five starters played at least 37 minutes.

With players dropping like flies, this is the best time for the three guys I mentioned above to get playing time. These guys have to play in order for the Bulls to get to where they want to go. The starters are playing way too many minutes and they are playing even more with these injuries. Why can’t ThomASS fucking realize this? There is a reason why some of the players are having nagging injuries. Gasol played 39 minutes in Saturday night’s game. His legs are going to fall off by March. Jimmy Butler is leading the NBA in minutes played. He is already showing signs of wearing down. He was playing out of his mind until the start of the new year. That is a sign of fatigue.

When will this franchise realize that the coach is ruining the careers of these players? Yeah, I don’t like some of these players (mostly Hinrich), but I have to root for them to succeed. I don’t know how else I can put it. This has been a serious issue ever since this fucking hack for a head coach came to town. It’s getting even worse than it was, before.

It’s a saying overused in sports but it speaks volumes here: Sometimes, you have to lose a battle to win a war. An NBA season is a perfect example of that.

This whole John Fox thing is sounding very similar to this.

Do yourselves a favor and ask if what was said 16 years ago at the end of this video is similar to what we are still saying today.

Alright, I am getting a little bored here. The Bulls suck, the Blackhawks are off until Friday and work is slow. While reading up about possible coaching candidates, I decided to take a break and piss myself off some more by reading up about the other shitty head coaches we’ve had to endure since Ditka (he was dick, but at least he won a Super Bowl).

I realized that two of the head coaches in the last 20 years (Wannstedt and Trestman) were assistants under Jimmy Johnson at some point. Lesson to be learned when choosing the next head coach? No more assistants that came from the Jimmy Johnson tree. And when choosing a coordinator? No one who has ever been in Jacksonville (Mel Tucker).

PATHETIC.

The Bulls haven’t had more than two days off in a row since December 23rd and yet, ThomASS still, doesn’t realize it.

January 12, 2015

I’ve been meaning to get to this for a while, but it’s been fairly busy here. The Bulls won’t get two days off in until next week. It would be nearly a full month of games in which they either play every other day, or back-to-back. And we’re seeing the effects.

Poor shooting, dead legs and sloppy play is plaguing the Bulls. Last week, they lose to the Jazz. That game, they couldn’t throw the damn ball into the ocean. Then, they go to Washington and lose again. But what pissed me the most is the fact that Jimmy Butler is still playing 40-something minutes each damn game. And with the loss against the Jazz, the game was over at halftime. Yet, with five minutes to go in the game and the Bulls down 25, ThomASS still has the starters playing. Are you fucking kidding me?

With a month straight without two full days off, any smart coach would do whatever they can to make sure that players are rested and ready. No player on that team should play more than 38 minutes each game. And some should even take nights off. Ultimately, the playoffs are what matter.

Oh, Joakim Noah is hurt again. He’s still playing but his knees are starting to wear down. That’s what happens when you have surgery because your dumbass head coach ran you into the ground.

Same shit. Different year. And for the record, I’ve been right, for the most part, all of these years. I said the Bulls would be ousted in the first or second round. The same will happen this season, regardless of how healthy Rose is.

Ryan Pace – The new general manager of the Bears

He was the director of player personnel for the Saints. He’s from outside the organization, unlike Emery, who was a former scout. If this was Ernie Accorsi’s choice, I am all for it. I’d like to think it was.

Your thoughts in the thread.

Another day has passed and Ted Phillips is still, president of the Chicago Bears.

We can only pray that this moron has no say in hiring the next general manager. Apparently, 30 years in the organization (which has resulted in nearly 30 years of ineptitude), isn’t enough. Reports had him being moved to just the business side of things and yet, there he was last week, alongside George in the press conference.

I believe that George McCaskey is pissed. I really do. But if he really wants things to change and for the better, then Teddy Bear shouldn’t have been alongside him. It should have been George only or him and Virginia. They run this team. Nobody else.

A decision is predicted to be made by next week on who the next general manager will be.

Trestman going to Tampa Bay?

It looks like Trestman and McCown were enjoying the sun together. How appropriate would it be to have both Lovie and Trestman on the same team?

When so much shit gets flushed, it eventually meets up with past waste.

Happy New Year

Possible Photoshop material for Morpheus?

Here’s to praying everyone was safe. I decided to rock the bow tie in this picture with a couple of friends from high school. What’s hard to see in the picture was the feather in the cap.

And here’s to praying the Bears get their heads out of their asses and hire people who actually know how to run a football team.

My thoughts on a post by Jimmy D.

December 30, 2014

“Well, how about my prognostication abilities? Suh showed his true colors and “stepped right up” (get it?) to make me look like a genius. I’ve watched some of the comments on the sports channels…and it appears that ALL of the former players think that Suh is an “out of control” HACK and that his antics have absolutely no place in the NFL.
On a brighter note, I’m one step away from getting my wish of having Detroit go to the Seahags and MAYBE getting to see one of the Lions “band of misfits” go Celebrity Deathmatch on Pete Carroll. Oh, the possibilities are endless!!!”

I posted after that I remember the game I went to two years ago when the Bears pissed all over themselves against those same Seahawks. It was the game where Lovie, in very Lovie-fashion, decided to go for it on fourth down, rather than take the points on a drive early in the game. It proved to be the difference-maker as the Bears ended up losing the game in overtime. In addition, it was Urlacher’s final game as he pulled a hamstring late in the fourth.

What pisssed me off as well in that game, was Pete Carroll jumping all over the sidelines like the buffoon that he is. I saw him do the same thing when the Seahawks beat the Packers on the “Fail Mary”. Pete Carroll is the ultimate ass clown.

Today, I found out how much more of a dip shit Pete Carroll and the rest of that franchise is. Apparently, one of the assistant coaches is Tom Cable. The same Tom Cable that had been arrested for beating his wife/wives multiple times over the years. So not only do the Seahawks employ a tool like Pete Carroll, they hire a fat fuck who has a history of beating up women.

Stay classy, Seahawks.
