At least Chicago has a great hockey team. Congratulations to the Blackhawks!!!

Thank You.
June 24, 2013The “expert” is here.
June 20, 2013Before I get to anything, most of you have requested that I add a name to the title of this site. I wanted to let all of you know that I will grant that request when I get more time to work on it.
Hey, did anybody catch that NBA Finals? Pretty good, huh? For you basketball people out there, let me ask one question:
Do you know why the Spurs lost the Finals? Anybody?
You guessed it. Free throws. I know. It’s like a broken record. But hey. The proof is right there. It was Game 6, the final minute and all that had to be done was for the Spurs to make all of their free throws. If that happens, the trophy is theirs. Simple, right?
Before the idiots (Yeti, TDubbs, Greg, etc.) come in herds, let me say that Gregg Popovich is still one of the best coaches in the NBA and I’d take him over that imposter the Bulls have for a head coach any day of the week. He actually knows when to rest his players and is a better coach overall. In Game 6, his players failed him. They missed free throws and made costly decisions in the final minute that prevented them from winning a title. Sure, he can get blamed for benching Tim Duncan in part of the final two minutes but that’s not the reason why they lost. I am not saying, I am just saying.
Fire Tom Thibodeou.
ALL TIME LOW…(?)
June 16, 2013I understand that FanBoy Ricketts is PATHETIC…but, WTF will it take to get Theo Epstein to act?
Dale Sveum is clearly an IDIOT, as he continues to trot the WORTHLESS Carlos Marmol out to the mound. Marmol is a one-man wrecking crew, likely doing more damage to the collective psyche of this PATHETIC Cubs organization than any box score could ever indicate.
I, for one have had more than I can stomach.

June 16, 2013Fire away.
Who owns the Cubs?

Get well soon Chucky. May you come back with more ANGER than ever before.
Fire Dale Sveum
June 3, 2013OK, I’ve had it: Anybody who continues to pitch Carlos Marmol is a complete IDIOT. And if the pressure is coming from above, then tell the “powers that be” to stick Marmol up their ass(es).
Building for the future includes fostering good team morale and chemistry. I wonder how many Cubs players are truly happy that Carlos Marmol is their teammate?
I’ll be shocked if Marmol ever pitches effectively for any length of time in the Major leagues. Yet another holdover from the Hendry era…money wasted for sure, but it’s too late now; trade him for the proverbial “bag of shells”.
Soriano, too. I’d rather see two rookies get a chance to play the game than a couple of BUMS…
The STENCH of Dumbo Hendry remains: it is sickening and PATHETIC.
Fujikawa down.
May 30, 2013So, the Cubs have been quietly rebuilding since 1908, right? It does seem like lately they are getting better….or, am I delusional (baaaaah)?
Trade Soriano. Trade Marmol.
That’s all I got for now. If anybody wants to take the time to spill their guts on anything Cubs related, I just might use it/post as a new thread. DON’T HOLD BACK.
In other news….GO BLACKHAWKS!
Yeah buddy!

In trouble.
May 23, 2013A lot of the internet folks and “experts” said that the Blackhawks would be better matched up against the Red Wings in the second round rather than the Sharks. A lot of the same people said that the Blackhawks would win the series easily against the Red Wings and that no team can beat them in a best-of-seven series. The Blackhawks win the first game. Then, they lose the next one. And the one after that. And then the one after that also.
Now, I wish they would play the games on paper.
In my lifetime, the Red Wings have always beat the Blackhawks in the playoffs. My earliest memory was in ’95 when the Blackhawks went down 4-1. Likewise for 2009. This year, it could be the same. These guys are a pain in the ass. I was probably the happiest guy out there when I found out they were switching conferences. Unless they face each other in the Stanley Cup (I’ll be shitting myself in fear if that happens), the Blackhawks won’t have to worry about seeing them in the playoffs ever again.
So here are the Blackhawks down 3-1. If they don’t want to hear about how the 1991 Blackhawks went out of the playoffs in horrendous fashion by spending half of the games with someone on their team in the penalty box against the North Stars, then they will win three in a row and advance to the Western Conference Finals.
For the love of God, please win three in a row.
