Can the Bears pull off another shocker this Sunday night when they go to Green Bay? Or will it be back to the same old shit?

September 16, 2022Sloppy | Bears 19 49ers 10
September 11, 2022Raise your hand if you thought the Bears were going to win today. Maybe all but who are currently raising your hands are lying.
Let’s be honest: The Bears should have been down 21-0 at halftime. The 49ers were a victim of the weather and had some turnovers that prevented this game from being over early. BUT, the Bears found a way to make the 49ers pay for their bad decisions. I actually felt they were playing like the Bears were all these years by constantly shooting themselves in the foot. They had numerous chances to put the game away early and didn’t.
The first drive of the game, the Bears go three and out. It set the tone for the entire half. They couldn’t get anything going on offense. Then again, the second half arrives and they finally get going. Some defensive breakdowns by the 49ers along with their bad penalties got the team going.
Message to Eddie Jackson: So nice of you to show up after a two-year vacation.
Cairo Santos missed two extra points in the fourth quarter. I was surprised as anyone. At the same time, the field conditions were garbage from all the rain. So I guess he gets a pass for today. In addition, did anyone else know that it’s illegal to dry a spot in the field with a towel? I didn’t think Santos would have made that field goal anyway. But damn.
That’s it for today. I am pretty exhausted after a long weekend. The Packers are up next on Sunday Night Football in Lambeau Field.
Final thoughts heading into the season opener.
September 7, 2022As we get ready for Sunday, we all should prepare for the absolute worst with our beloved Bears.
On the bright side, there is new grass in the stadium that’s supposed to more durable for the players. I think I’ve heard that before.
On the dark side, the Bears are trying to distract everyone from an impending horrible season by having plans to build a stadium in an area where logistics are awful for one. Seriously. Arlington Heights is hell for traffic on a random Tuesday afternoon. What makes them think that they can just build an NFL stadium there? Just another glorious idea from the man in charge. One tiny expressway leads to Arlington Heights. Not several like Lake Shore Drive.
Now, back to why I called:
The offensive line seems to still be in shambles. I don’t think this new offensive coordinator knows that running the ball is good. With defense, it’s nothing but question marks. Is the secondary going to be any better? Are the front four going to get pressure on the quarterback? My guess to all of these questions is “no.”
Can the Bears win this opener? Possibly. They could catch the 49ers on a rough day seeing as they seem to have their own problems lately. Any team with high expectations could be caught off-guard during a season opener as history has shown us.
There will be a recap after the game. Feel free to have your thoughts in this thread.
Why wait until the season is over? Go home now, you worthless turd.
September 2, 2022In the picture above, George is plugging his nose. Maybe Ted farted and he thought it was funny. Or maybe, he smells shit and just can’t figure out where it’s coming from.
At the end of this season, the smell will still be there. But it won’t be as bad. That’s because we all got a surprise announcement this holiday weekend that Ted Phillips will mercifully be retiring.
Of course, I don’t understand why he start now. But regardless, the man who has ruined this team for the last quarter century will finally be taking a hike.
Good riddance.
How to blow a three touchdown lead | Bears 21 Browns 20
August 27, 2022This will be brief because we saw the real Bears tonight. 21-0 lead and if it wasn’t the preseason, the Bears lose in the final minutes on a field goal or somehow in overtime.
There’s just no excuse to blow a 21-0 lead. In 2018, the Bears blew a big lead in the first preseason game. It was a tell-tale sign of what was to come. Opening night? The Bears blew a 20-0 lead to the Packers. Jimmy D. and I witnessed it live. He drove 20 minutes or so back home with a smile on his face and I had to bare the pain of driving three hours back in a fit of rage.
Justin Fields was great tonight in the time he played. It won’t matter if the defense doesn’t hold things together.
Two weeks from now, the 49ers come to town and the games are for real.
Also, Trevor Semen and Nathan Peterman suck. They’re part of the reason why this game was almost lost.
Last, but not least, did I mention that Trevor Semen and Nathan Peterman suck?
Another bust (or three) for Ryan Poles.
August 23, 2022Zachary Thomas | Offensive Tackle | 6th Round | San Diego State
Apparently, this guy isn’t very good. And he’s in danger of being cut according to sources. This is BAD.
To make matters worse, personal favorite (because he went to Illinois), Doug Kramer, is out for a long time with a leg injury.
Two offensive linemen drafted this year and already causing problems. Where have we seen this before?
P.S. Jaquan Brisker (another draft pick) already broke his thumb. BUT, he is expected to be back for the first game of the season.
Discuss.
It can never be perfect | Bears 27 Seahawks 11
August 18, 2022I took some notes down for this game knowing there would be things that would piss most of us off. The score looked good. The announcers were praising the Bears for their “discipline” of not committing too many penalties. Well, discipline comes in other ways both on and off the field.
First drive – You would think the Bears would go three-and-out like they usually do on their first possession. But hey, look! A field goal! How did it not become a touchdown? First, the running game was non-existent in situations where it needed to be this entire game. But they came out passing. Then, on third down, an awful call for a pass that goes for basically no yards happens. Field goal. We’ve seen this before. I also noticed Fields running for his life a few times on the only series he played. This offensive line needs a lot help NOW.
Defense – The first three quarters were good. Then again, Geno Smith really sucks at football. He sucked tonight against the bums. Then the fourth quarter comes and the defense decides to quit playing. I’ve seen this before.
Trevor Semen and Nathan Peterman – Suck
Fourth Quarter Blues – Turnover on downs on one drive. It’s 2nd and goal at the one yard line. What happens? Two straight pass plays for an incomplete. Again they were actually running on the ball decently the previous drives. Then it’s 4th down. RUN. They do, but the Seahawks knew it was coming.
There was a botch on a punt return late in the 4th quarter. Is there any discipline from these bums? How about look where you’re being pushed back so you don’t run into the punt returner? This lead to a very quick touchdown drive. Next up, failed onside kick right back to the Seahawks. Why is this team quitting? Next play, pass interference. Is this is a fucking joke? A touchdown got overturned. Oh well.
What did we learn? This team is still annoying, undisciplined and hard to watch even against players who probably won’t even be in the NFL in about ten days. Trying to blow a 24-point lead late in the fourth is inexcusable.
The last preseason game is next Saturday against the Browns.
I’ve seen this movie before | Bears 19 Chefs 14
August 13, 2022Hey. Our beloved Bears are back. And that means recaps from the worst site on the internet. Yes, even preseason games will be covered. Why? Because I don’t know when to tell myself that this team sucks ass and will never be successful with George and Ted in charge.
But hey, the Bears pulled one out. And I’m still pissed. Why? Let’s take a look at the all the things they did to remind us that they still suck.
First drive of the game – Three and out. Oof. This looks all too familiar. What happens next? The Chiefs go all the way down for a touchdown. THIS HAPPENS ALL. THE. FUCKING. TIME. Why change now? Speaking of things that happen all the time, the Chiefs drove down at will to get a touchdown right before halftime. Seriously, someone tell me a time the Bears DIDN’T give up points in the final two minutes before halftime. Justin Fields did alright. Darnell Mooney made a nice catch as well as Tajae Sharpe.
Second half – This is where I went to get lunch. I missed the first touchdown on a Trevor Semen pass. Fuck this guy. Why did Ryan Poles think it was a good idea to bring in one of the worst quarterbacks of the last decade? Oh, and speaking of shitty quarterbacks, they also signed an even worse quarterback in Nathan Peterman. THE TWO WORST QUARTERBACKS OF THE LAST TEN YEARS WERE SIGNED THIS OFFSEASON. But what do we have here? A second-half comeback! 19 straight points and the shitty defense found a way to seal the deal.
In short, this team is really going to suck. Justin Fields is a question mark. The offensive line is in shambles. The running game wasn’t really a priority today. And the defense is just atrocious.
To show you how out of it I have been this offseason, I had no idea the Bears let punter Pat O’Donnell go. He signed with the Packers in March? Fuck. His leg must have been so exhausted all these years. He’s now on a team where he barely has to punt. I guess I can’t blame him there.
Thursday night is a matchup on National Television against the Seahawks. Yippy!

August 7, 2022The Bears start the preseason slate this Saturday against the Chiefs.
This topic or other thoughts, put them right here.
Is another shitty Bear pissed off?
August 2, 2022You can blame Ryan Pace for this one. But Ryan Poles is now responsible and must do something.
How can a player who was drafted with injury issues be pissed off?
ENOUGH. ENOUGH. ENOUGH.
